Fire Island features beautiful beaches and rolling sea grass-covered dunes on one side and the Great South Bay teaming with aquatic life on the other. It is also known for its pine trees, deer and narrow boardwalk footpaths. No vehicles are permitted, so wagons, bicycles and walking are typical methods of transportation. There are plenty of options for being active: fishing, biking, hiking, swimming, tennis, volleyball, boating, basketball, bird watching, nature walks, surfing and in-line skating.

A midweek rental entitles you to the entire house to yourselves. You can arrive anytime after 10am Monday morning. You have the place till Friday morning 10am; at that time the maid comes to clean the house in preparation for the weekend share. Some people will even leave their luggage packed and stored at the house and spend additional time at the beach.
The house also has a separate set of meat and dairy Kosher pots, pans, dishes, silverware ect, available upon request.
Maid service included in price unless noted.
